I got to meet this beautiful and very sweet German Shepherd yesterday and we became instant buddies. She made herself as wide as possible so I would not miss a square inch of that belly.

Garnet, the Queen of the 12 Hour Whelp, extended her work hours on Friday to a 15 1/2 hour whelp, and she and Tar are the parents of 7 beautiful Black & Tan puppies:- 5 females - Ghita (Ital deriv. pearly), Gerry (in honor of my dear,dear friend Geraldine who I know would truly love dogs if she weren't so darned allergic), Gladys (R-E-S-P-E-C-T), Ginny, andGriffin (in honor of Ellen's sweet girl who years ago taught Garnet and many other GEB GSDs before her that 'not all dogs will like you, so get over yourself!') and - 2 males - Guthrie (Woody and Arlo - yes!), and Galen (Greek deriv. healer; calm - let's hope!)

Here is a real treat. This is a beautiful white long coat German Shepherd puppy by the name of Cooper. Thank you for this great submission Carolyn.
