Yogys' First Snow with His Friends

One of the best experiences of owning dogs is to see them play in the snow for the first time. Yogi and his buddies are having a blast and this was captured very well in these photographs. If anyone else has "First snow" or "First anything" shots of their GSD's then please send them to me for future postings.

Yogi On The Move

Yogi reminds me so much of my Cora - It's scary. I would love to meet this GSD one day. This is one fine example of how graceful a German Shepherd can look while moving at high speeds. Yogi sits still then locks on to a target and gets into gear. This is a great capture. Go Yogi!

Meet Thor

I've always liked seeing children interact with German Shepherds. It looks like Thor as well as the kids are having a good time. I hope we will see more of him in the Future. Thor will be 2 years old on October 31st.

I Can Make It To The Fence In 2.9 Seconds...Can You?

I will get back to posting daily later this week so please keep checking in. This is a photo of Kara who is Jane Wilsons Guiding Eyes Shepherd. She will be leaving this weekend so I thought I'd post this fun photo of her which I took during playtime at one of her classes. She is a real sweetheart and we are best buddies. I'll really miss her.

Now Let's See Effie Working At The Airport...

Here is a link to a "Smilebox" of Effie spending the day at the airport with mom. Effies' mom did a great job putting it together. Don't miss. Once the Smilebox loads, click on the arrow below the book to turn the pages.

I can tell that Kristen loved her Isis the same way I loved Cora and I was very touched by her great photo story and amazing photos of this great German Shepherd and her buddies. This is a great feel good posting for the weekend because Isis will grab our hearts as well. Thanks again Kristen! I took one look at Isis and fell in love with her.

A Must Read And See Posting "Celebrating Gwennie"

This may be a German Shepherd Blog but stories and photos like these will touch us all and inspire us even more to form strong bonds with our pets. I hope that the folks who enjoy my G.S.D. Files blog will take the time and write a story about their GSD's with or without photos because we all enjoy reading this stuff. Go to the following link and you'll see what I mean.

Eben And Friends Go Swimming

Our family just went to Smith Mountain Lake for a week. Eben was the big water dog every day. His favorite toy of all times at the lake and at home is his soccer ball.
Here are some pictures of Eben enjoying the lake. In some of the pictures are yellow lab Elgin (currently in training for ATF) and black lab Faraday (7 month old puppy on program for GEB)
